Pick up a printed book on Amazon.com: link here

Welcome to Goblin Golfin’, the most ridiculous course in the realm! This isn’t your ordinary puzzle book — it’s 200 brain-twisting mini golf maps designed for dice-slinging goblins, chaotic thinkers, and anyone who’s ever yelled “FORE!” in a dungeon.

Inside you’ll find:

  • 200 unique Goblin Golf puzzles to play solo or with friends

  • Easy-to-learn rules you’ll pick up in seconds

  • Endless replayability as every hole becomes its own little challenge

  • A mix of luck and logic — part golf, part dice, part “what just happened?”

You’ll roll dice, chart your shots, and try to navigate narrow corridors, cursed sand traps, and mischievous wall bounces — all from the comfort of your couch or coffee shop.

🎲 How to Play

  1. Roll 3 six-sided dice (3d6).

  2. Pick one die for Power (how far you shoot).

  3. Use the other two for Deviation (how much your shot veers off course).

  4. Move in straight lines — first for Power, then at a right angle for Deviation.

  5. Try to reach the Hole in as few strokes as possible while collecting gems along the way!

Simple to learn, chaotic to master — just like real golf, but with goblins, walls, and zero dignity.

Score?

What would be my score now, not having used a single stroke?

It looks like you've used over 7 strokes. Every time you roll the dice it's a stroke.

Looking at it, I can only assume your very first roll was a 6 and that the 2 other dice were the same (so your deviation was 0). That's the only way to move in a straight line for 6.

yes I had several perfect shots with 2 dice being the same. But as I read the rules: instead of rolling dice you could do a single stroke. So I asumed rolling dice doesn’t tick off a stroke box.  But reading your reply, apparent it does 😅

why do you get points when using a stroke? I would have thought you would get penalty points instead.

Ah, I see the "+" is confusing. The rules say " At the end of the course use the furthest-right filled square in each section as your final score (Strokes, Perfect Shot, Gems). Add them together for your total score." So it's not add up every box in the row.

ah right, I see now, simple case of RTFM ;-)

Ha, I definitely struggle with making things as clear as possible. Makes sense to me, but that's only because I've stared at it forever!

Yeah I can imagine that happens and you are creating some much as well

Love it.  As usual, tight, easy mechanics with fun presentation.

Some questions:

  • If you move through the hole's square but still have movement left to do, do you sink the ball, or do you have to continue with the remaining movement?  The chip-in bonus seems to suggest you don't have to land it perfect to sink it (since you get a bonus if you get it perfectly – unless the intent is to get the bonus by rolling and not getting the bonus by "putting" with the single orthographic move).
  • Similarly, do you pick up gems as you pass through them, or only if you land on them?
  • Perfect shots can "travel through walls", but you can never end movement in a wall. What happens if a perfect shot movement would end on a wall?

These are all good questions, and the first one is the reason I came on here looking for answers. My guess is pass-through hole, but land on gem.. it should specify in rules but maybe since  it mentions the specific condition of landing on it to get a perfect shot means you CAN score normally by just passing through the hole..? That or we are reading the end blurb wrong and it actually just implies that when you do eventually land on it, to mark a perfect shot. Just as a final 'gift'... idk.

edit, if 'passthrough' is allowed, I'm guessing it's only on the power shot and not deviation? (assuming your power shot leaves you close to the hole and the deviation passes through it)

Also I'm assuming if you pass through a wall with a perfect shot, you are counting the wall as as move and not skipping over it, correct?

Also today I re/learned the word orthogonally.

Well, the other way you can finish a hole is using the “putt” that allows you to just move one square without rolling. In that case the bonus is for not using that to end the hole (which can be tough).

Oh wow I overlooked that! Didn't know what it was implying.

Howdy! Thanks for playing!

Some clarifications in hopes it helps: a Perfect Shot is only when your deviation is 0. Meaning the 2 dice that subtract from each other has to be 0.

1. If you move through a hole's square but still have movement left to do you miss the hole and it keeps going. The chip-in bonus means even with deviation, you get that "Perfect Shot" bonus. Putting is not a "shot" per se since you're not rolling anything.

2. Gems are only gotten if you land on them.

3. If it would end on a wall, you will not be able to make the shot.

Did you intend for the 200 puzzles to be free?

Yep, just for a little bit. Grab it while you can!
