This simple yet strategic "tile-placement" (more like a flip-and-write to be honest) game will have you racing to achieve the top score while navigating through a haunted woodland. Think of yourself as the city planner for the local spooky forest. It's a living, amirite? Or is it non-living...

Components

1x Game Board

18x Game Cards (6 Trees, 5 Skulls, 4 Ghosts, 3 Rocks)

Setup

1. Shuffle the game cards and place them face down to create your draw deck.

How to Play

1. Draw a card from the draw deck.
2. Place (illustrate) this as a tile on the game board in a legal space.
3. Continue until all 16 tiles have been placed or there are no legal moves left.
4. Go to final scoring.

Legal Placement

When placing your tile, it may not be orthogonally adjacent to the last placed tile. The exception to this rule is the Rock, which must be placed orthogonally adjacent to the last placed tile.

Final Scoring

• +2 points for each pair (orthogonally adjacent) of Ghost and Skull
• -3 points for each Ghost without a paired Skull
• -3 points for each empty space
• +1 point for each Tree that is in a group of 3+ Trees

Puzzle Mode (Paid)

Puzzle Mode is a version of Spooky Forest with pre-generated deck draws. This allows you to plan ahead and maximize your score for each puzzle. The game plays the same, but you are able to see what cards are going to be drawn and the order to resolve them.
