The goal of Five Floors to Victory is... score as many points as possible. Your final score is calculated by the number of Coins you have + how many Enemies you have recently slain.
How to Play!
- Randomize the dungeon by rolling all 16 dice. You can do this by pressing the "N" key for New Game.
- Move your character around with the arrow keys.
Calculating The Dice
Coins: collecting a Coin will add the value to your current stash. If you see a "+", it will increase all Coins on the current floor by 1 (max value: 3). If you see a "-", it will decrease all Coins on the current floor by 1 (min value: 1).
Defense: collecting a Defense will change your defense level. If you see a "+", it will increase your Defense by 1 (max value: 5). If you see a "-", it will decrease your Defense by 1 (min value: 1).
Attack: collecting an Attack will change your attack level. If you see a "+", it will inrease your Attack by 1 (max value: 1). If you se a "-", it will decrease your Attack by 1 (min value: 1).
Health: collecting Health will add the value to your current health (max value: 5).
Exits: entering an exit will take you to the next floor. IMPORTANT! The icon in the top-right corner will tell you any penalties you suffer if there are enemies still remaining on the floor. For example: the Coin icon means if there are 2 enemies remaining on the floor, you will lose 2 Coins.
Enemies and Calculating Damage
If your current Attack value is equal to or greater than the Enemy value, you defeat it. Add 1 to your Enemy count.
If you current Attack value is less than the Enemy value, you take damage. The damage you receive is the Enemy Value - Your Defense Value (min value: 1). Add 1 to your Enemy count.
Upgrading
When you have reached 5 Enemies defeated, you will have an opportunity to upgrade your character. Press the corresponding number (1, 2, or 3) to upgrade. This will reset your Enemy count back to 0.

Hi, thank you for making this fun game! I just wanted to let you know that there seem to be some unintentional differences in the PNP version.
The "single page" cards show the dungeon floor track, but the individual "coins" card doesn't.
The PNP rules say to start Attack and Defense at zero, so I pasted zeroes onto the card (thinking they had been omitted), but then I saw that the digital version can't go below 1.
On that note, I realize in hindsight that you should obviously start with 5 Health, but I had been playing from zero. I guess I was thinking that you had to accumulate Health like everything else, since it wasn't mentioned in the setup rules.
Something else I think might be nice to mention in the rules is that the +/- skulls aren't considered enemies. I know it's a "me" problem, but I wasn't sure if they did or not until checking the digital version.
Wow, thank you for the catch! I must have been half asleep on the PNP version. I'll have to update these.
